The commercial directories bury each station under advertising, split them across a page per country, and leave half their links dead. Nobody has simply put the continent on one page and let you press play.
So we did. This is not a business. We host no audio, we take nothing from the stations, and there is no advertising on this page. It exists because Africans abroad should be able to hear home without fighting a website to do it.
Every station is filtered before you see it: the stream must be secure, must have passed its most recent availability check, and must play in an ordinary browser without extra software. Fewer stations that work beats more that do not.
Run a station and not listed? This list draws from Radio Browser, a free open community database. Adding your station there puts you on this page and on every other service using that data — it costs nothing and takes minutes.
A stream will not play? Streams go offline for maintenance, licensing and power reasons across the continent, and that is outside our control. Try another from the same city.

Station names, stream URLs, bitrates, countries and languages are drawn in real time from the Radio Browser open database (radio-browser.info), a free community-maintained catalogue of internet radio. We host no audio and hold no rights in any broadcast — all streams belong to the broadcasters and are provided by them. Listening uses your own data connection. Station availability changes constantly and is outside our control.
